A standard A4 page (595x842 points) becomes a 1190x1684 pixel image, sharp enough for both screen display and print use. The conversion uses PDF.js, the same rendering engine that powers Firefox’s built-in PDF viewer. Your browser loads the PDF, renders each page to a canvas element at double resolution, and exports the canvas as a PNG file. The entire process stays in browser memory.
